Hofmag Treatment
What is Hofmag?
Hofmag is a PEMF(Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) system that works on a cellular level to boost healing, circulation and relaxation in horses. The Hofmag detects areas of depleted ATP within the cell mitochondria, up to 20cm deep. When these cells have depleted ATP this causes an inflammation response and for the cell to become dysfunctional. This will cause localised pain and restriction within this area. The Hofmag will stimulate the natural regeneration process by squeezing and relaxing the cell and therefore increasing the ATP production and healing the cell. The Hofmag can be used on every part of the body and is great for targeting hard to reach areas such as Poll/TMJ, Abdominals/Rib Cage and SI joint. The Hofmag increases ATP which is our cells energy source therefore there is no fatigue to the muscle and the horses can be ridden straight after treatment.
